If You're Happy and Ya Know It....

We went to one of Oby's cousin's baby showers today. This is totally a sidenote, but have you ever noticed how some pregnant women are darling? And then there are the others? Well, when I'm pregnant, I totally fit in the 'other' category! Anywho, I ended up lingering at the Bennett household afterward. Chloe got to visit with her Great Grandpa Phil! (and she actually let him hold her without crying this time)....

Chloe and Grandpa Great

Then there was singing and dancing....

Nana sang 'Old McDonald Had a Farm' with Chloe

Henry did the Hokie Pokie!

'If you're happy and ya know it, giggle with your cousin! '

B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o!

I fit in the "other" category as well! I never looked perky and neat, with good hair, perfect makeup, and cute overalls.More like a pear, on 2 toothpicks, in ugly sweat clothes, with nightmare hair, and no make up. Just hard to look fresh when my head stayed in the toilet most of the day! LOL

Lots of great pics! Your daughter is so beautiful and her smile is enchanting! Thanks for sharing her with the rest of us.

You really do have the most beautiful family, Tara. Seriously. I look at a lot of blogs, which translates into a lot of photos of people's children, and consider myself to be somewhat of an authority on the matter now. :)

Your family takes the cake!

Chloe is lucky to have cousins and so much family close by. Life is more wonderful that way.

I was OK pregnant until the last month probably. I got better with each progressing pregnancy to not look so bad.

Some pregnant women are adorable though.

Yes, I TOTALLY know what you mean about the super cute pregnant women and then the others. I'm always an other myself, fat, puffy and awkward!!! To me all other pregnant women are beautiful, glowing, and happy. I'm miserable, I hate those women who glide through their pregnancies with no complications or complaints, it makes me so depressed :(.

How wonderful to live in an age where you can show the kids pics of themselves with 'great grampa' even if they don't remember! Life is good.

ps- I looked "good" pregnant, but I had life threatening complications. I was very close to having a stroke. Three days post partum, I had a surgery that removed 12 feet of blood clot covered veins from my legs. I would have rather looked fat and be healthy than the other way around.
