Two weeks before the baby shower I'm throwing her and six weeks before her due date, I get a call from my pal Gibbie. To my dismay, she was in labor! I told Gibbie that little Carter was already letting everyone know that HE is in charge around here! He is 5 lb. 6 oz. and 19 1/2" long. He's perfectly healthy and perfectly cute!
