Chloe enjoying the Dr's office paper
Chloe has been under the weather all week. Today I decided to take her to the dr since she has had a fever for so long. I'm sure he didn't believe me when I said she had been very fussy all week, because the second she gets on the dr's office table, ya know with the paper on it, she goes nuts (in a good way)! She loves that paper - she laughs and giggles herself crazy. So needless to say he didn't really address her fussiness, but he did note that she had lost 2 pounds since our last visit, even though I've been trying to get her to gain weight.
Funny, because I've gained 2 pounds even though I've been trying to lose weight. Something's definitely askew here, and the ying/yang of the universe is putting the weight in the wrong places. So we went to the grocery store afterward to pick up some medicine and other items. I thought it was funny that I got high calorie drinks and puddings for Chloe and low-carb items for me. Isn't that just how it goes????
When we got home, she went back to her fussy sick self. I tried laying her on wrapping paper and tissue paper to get the effect of the dr's office table. But she's no fool. Then I tried putting her in her Halloween pj's and funny wig. Cuz, really, what little girl (or big girl for that matter) doesn't like to play dress up. Am I right, ladies?

She is a beautiful little girl. So did the doctor say when he expected the fever to subside? There are few things that are more stressful than not knowing what is ailing your child - and then feeling powerless even if you do. You are a good mom Tara, keep up the good work.
I swear that is always how it goes. They are happy at the dr office and it makes us look like we are just paranoid. I love that you tried to lay her on paper at home. She looks so cute all dressed up! Miss you!
