Tonight a few of us met up at Nana and Papa's house....

Chloe gazing at Nana
The reason for the gathering? Because I have been craving Spaghetti Factory mizithra cheese and mushroom sauce for about two weeks now. I mean, I wake up in the middle of the night trying to talk myself out of driving to Salt Lake and wait at Trolley Square's doors until they let me in so I can get some. I shared my craving with the Bennett fam on Zoo Lights night, and everyone agreed that sounded good and we should all go. And to answer the question many of you are thinking, the answer is no. I am not pregnant.
Boy was I glad we finally went! The mizithra did not disappoint.
Izzy enjoyed herself too!
Yep, Izzy enjoyed herself, but Chloe - not so much.
Yikes, is that a look of death or what!?!
Actually, despite her glares in the picture, Chloe really loved Spaghetti Factory. I shared some of my plate with her, and if I didn't shovel the noodles in fast enough, she would holler at me. She couldn't get enough! Like mother, like daughter I suppose!
THEN we decided the girls should stop and say hi to Santa. This was a brave decision on our parts considering how the girls reacted to jolly Old St Nick last year.
(insert Psycho theme here).
Think that's bad? Check out Chloe....
(Again, insert psycho theme).
Santa and Chloe 2007
(I think Santa looks almost as scared as Chloe does!)
Double take of Chloe's response to Santa in 2007 - sheer terror
BUT it's been a year. Maybe the girls will have warmed up to the idea of Santa. Or maybe not. We decided that even if they were crying, it would be a cute picture, so we took our chances.
So..... how did they take it???
(Insert Jaws theme here).

Double take - Santa and Izzy 2008
Izzy loved Santa. After he gave her a candy cane, she blew him kisses for several minutes. The feeling was mutual. He thought she was a doll!

Seriously, when you're craving something, nothing else will quite do!!! Glad you got to satisfy your craving.
The girls look cute, even the screaming and confused looks are priceless! Maybe next year will bring smiles all around! :o)
I love the crying pictures with Santa, they are classic!! Every family needs at least one of those!!!! Nothing says Christmas like screaming children, no wonder they call him SAINT Nick!!
My friend was the photographer for Santa one year at our local mall and she said that she saw more kids/babies cry than smile....I wonder if it's the beard?
LOL! I have a few of those screeming Santa pictures! It looks like she did better this year
What a couple of cuties. Can't get enough.
That Santa and Izzy pic needs a caption!!
I don't think I have ever seen a picture of Chloe not smiling. She is still a doll:)
I know about those cravings, I've been craving coconut milk soup for awhile now. It's getting almost unbearable. I haven't been to the spaghetti factory yet. There's on in Taylorsville by my sister in laws, perhaps we should try it out some time...
I love the pictures of Izzy and Chloe with Santa...those are just priceless...and it looks like every year they are getting a little happier to see him!
I love Chloe's face with Santa 2008. Talk about reading her thoughts. She's just so cute!
Oh my goodness, the first thing I was thinking, "Is Tara pregnant?" hehe...but thanks for clarifying ;-) Those pics last year are HILLARIOUS! Glad this year was better!

My boys weren't afraid of him last year so I thought they would be for sure this year but they weren't they actually blow him kisses & chatter at him.

Now I've gotta go get something to eat. :)
I don't remember getting an invite to spaghetti night!:(
