I Love Daffodils

DAFFODIL: Regard, rebirth, new beginnings, unrequited love, you're the only one, chivalry, eternal life.

I've always loved the daffodil. It is the first flower of spring. A sign that the storms are almost over and the sun is just around the bend. A symbol of hope, renewal, and eternal life.

While dating, I mentioned to Oby that I loved daffodils. He has never forgotten that simple statement, and often manages to delight me with daffodils when the occassion presents itself. What a sweetheart! Just the other day, he brought in some hand-picked daffodils. *sigh* I've got a good guy!

A daffodil bouquet was part of my Valentine's Day present last year

These daffodils surrounded us while Oby proposed

He proposed at and we were married in this temple, another symbol of eternity

What is your favorite flower and why?

I love tulips! I guess because they're the first flowers of spring and symbolize a new beginning. They come in so many beautiful colors. Some spring I want to go to the tulip festival in Seattle. THere are fields of them blooming!

Daffodils, in my mind, are the first signs of spring. The temple is beautiful. I bet it was a beautiful wedding and a lovely proposal with all those flowers around.

I like tulips, and daisies, but I really love any flower. Especially bulbs and perennials that come back every year.

MY favorite color is YELLOW! That's why I love daffodils too. They also represent the fact that winter is nearing to an end. I wanted to tell you again that I am really sad that we didn't get to meet you. (sigh) I really, really wanted to. :(

I love daffodils too! I think they look so beautiful when they bloom and they still can weather the Utah storms and are still standing even with the dustings of snow!! I also love lillies and daisies!

I love all flowers but ones with a scent are my favorites - jasmine, hibicus, lilies, roses.
What great pictures and yes, you got a good one in Oby and he in you.

That's a great picture of the temple with all the daffodils in front!

I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite flower! There are so many that are so pretty! In the spring time I like the tulips that grow together in clumps. :)

I love hyacinths and lilacs. My great aunt had trees and bushes with these flowers and I absolutely adored them. I used them for my wedding flowers as well.
