Bithday Bash

Oby's birthday was fun this year! Usually he has to work on his birthday, and let me tell you - he does not call in 'sick' on his birthday, or even take a vacation day. He's one of those committed/dedicated types. In fact, he's only called in sick once since I've known him. Wow.

Okay, I just got sidetracked. Back to the point.

We started the day by going on a bike ride as a family. The weather was if-ish, but stayed nice for our entire ride. We had such a great time! Even Chloe enjoyed herself....

Oh, sidenote again. CHLOE IS LEARNING HOW TO DO RASPBERRIES! And she did raspberries in the bike trailer during our entire ride. She gets really shy about it. If she realizes we're watching her, she'll stop. She wants to figure it out before she performs on command. ;o) Cute.

We then had a steak dinner at my mom's with (drumroll please)..... blueberry cheesecake for dessert! YUM!!!

Chloe is also learning to use a sippy cup. Wow, she's really doin' me proud! If only you could see, I'm BEAMING!

Oby's gift from my parents was Wii Fit. I'm SO EXCITED! I mean, excited for him. It's his. ;o)

His gift from me was a scrapbook of his life. I think it turned out really well. Oby's mom also did some pages. Oh, so sweet. Scrapbook from mama is a perfect gift for my sentimental guy.

My parents watched Chloe while we went out on a date. F&F4 was Obys' flick of choice. I give the movie two stars. But the going on a date without having to be a mom for a couple of hours, and my fabulous company on that date get five stars!!!!
