Now You Listen Here!

The day has finally come.... The Listening Program came in the mail. And boy oh boy have we been getting our use out of it! Chloe loves it, she gets very serious when it's on.

She looks especially serious in this picture. With her horn-rimmed glasses, cardigan, beaded necklaces and mary-janes, I think she looks like a little 70's secretary.

We do 15 minutes in the morning,

And 15 minutes before bed.

Sometimes we mix things up a little and do the listening while she plays. We got a tub of wheat (much like the beans) and Chloe was really into it!

Me - I'm not so crazy about the wheat bin like I thought I would be. It makes a giant mess! We even put a sheet underneath like everyone told me to do (for supposedly quick clean-up). But Chloe LOVES it, so we'll be playing in wheat lots!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I've enjoyed reading your blog and seeing your little girl with the BIGGEST SMILE EVER!!

Is your hubby's name pronounced "Oh-Bee"? I'm just curious because I have an uncle who goes by OB (short for Obert, his given first name--which he hates) and I thought he was the only one!

Such fun!!

What adorable shots - I totally agree - she looks like she should have a steno pad in hand.

Tara I love her arm positions in all of these pictures. It tells so much about her moods! Folded in her lap while obediently listening, and stretched out trying to grasp that fun wheat! Rice is also another fun mess maker (and you can color it!), beans, oatmeal, sand... I have some fun recipes for some more gooey stuff too if you want them. A heavy table cloth might be easier than a sheet, less wrinkling, and tape it down if you need to. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I can't imagine the mess the wheat makes! I know when my little one was doing therapy with the beans, they got ALL over the place! lol

I can't stand how precious she is! Her smile is just amazing!
