Pumpkin Patch

This is my philosophy on life. Soooo..... I bought this book:

Have you ever bought a book because you liked the title?

That's what I did with this book.

They had me at 'Hello, Cupcake!'

I turned to page 175 and found this adorable creation.

I had to indulge.

Oby and Chloe helped.

It was an excellent family Sunday afternoon activity.

I couldn't find green licorice lace despite my best efforts to do so (4 grocery stores).
We used sub-par substitutes instead.

That is the only disappointment with how our pumpkin patch turned out.

.
We had to make plenty for a big family get-together!

The actual cupcakes are pumpkin spice - delish!
The cupcakes were a hit, especially for our nephews Max, Calvin & Tonio!

We can hardly wait to make our next family cupcake creation.

A Sunday afternoon tradition? Maybe....

I clicked over from SITS. Those are adorable, and pumpkin spice sounds perfect.

I like your philosophy of life, too. I've never seen anyone look unhappy eating a cupcake.
