Here is a little peak at the fabric I got for my upcoming sewing projects....
If all goes as planned, Chloe will be debuting this little number on Thanksgiving day! If not, I'll make it a size bigger and, voila, Chloe will have a skirt for NEXT fall!
I really do hope the fall skirt gets done, because it would sure look cute with this Fall Fiesta bow we got from
This is the fabric I got for Chloe's tiered Christmas skirt.
Oh my heck isn't it cute!?!?
Just for a reminder, here's the tiered skirt pattern. I can only hope Chloe's looks like this!
Actually I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this fabric, but it was so cute, I had to get it and decided I'd figure out what to make with it later. Good decision, right? It's so cute!
NOW if I could just figure out how to get the bobbin on.... And what is this pedal thingy for???
Not to change the subject, but I had to show this picture for several reasons. First of all, just to show how cute Chloe's striped tights are. I LOVE tights for little girls. Also, just thought I'd point out that in this picture she is wearing a skirt, sized for a 6-month-old. She's 18-months-old and it's a little loose. If that doesn't explain how skinny she is, I don't know what will. We need to get some more meat on those bones! And trust me, we're working on it. The other reason I wanted to share this picture is because it shows how great my dad is. I had a girl's lunch/shopping date today, and my mom was going to watch Chloe. But she had a hair appointment right at the time I dropped Chloe off, so my dad stepped up to the plate. Thanks Dad!!!

Oh la la! Fabulous fabrics! I couldn't have passed up that last one either! The green and pink Christmas is too fun!!!
Oh, and Chloe looks adorable in her tights! I love tights period, but obviously can't get away with wearing cute ones like these! :o)
Aren't dads great? Mine watched our kids yesterday too. And he's been taking Josh out on some father/son outings lately. I'm loving it.
I also love the fabrics. If we lived closer we could do a sewing marathon together!
way cute fabrics! I wouldn't know what the heck I was doing either! Good luck.. Emily is barely fitting into a 4t, she turned 5 back in July.. Her cousin that is the same age is already into a 7.. They'll grow into their clothes someday I hope! =)
I love the fabrics! I wish that I could sew- sad to say that I haven't sewn a thing since High School. I only mend when needed.
I also love striped tights! We have striped, polka-dots, hearts etc. for winter. Take Care!
Blessings,
Jen
