{eye} {heart} U pizza!

My flashback today is a bit different than what I've done before. It's not a photo, but a piece of schoolwork from 3rd grade. It's an 'essay' I guess you could call it, and I think it is hilarious! Enjoy....

Here's what it says (in case it's not clear enough to read):

TaraLee September 21, 1987

Food, Food Lots of Food

"Pizza is yummy to me all the time, I especially like pizza that's crunchy and has lots and lots of pepperoni! I HATE combination pizza! I just don't know what I'd do without pizza! It's just right, it's not supper messy like a sloppy joe, any time with pizza would be the best time of my life, practicly. I hope this tells you just how much I like spicy seasonings, zesty aroma, deluxe pepperoni, and delicate crunchy crusts. {eye} {heart} U pizza!"

LOL. Now I think this essay I wrote when I was 8-years-old says a lot about who I am today.... a dramatic over-eater who has a lot to say about, well, everything. I'm sure when my teacher read this she thought, 'TMI, TMI.' It's foreshadowing, don't you think?

Okay, your turn. Please share your flashbacks. I love them!

Loved the drawing under it even more than the essay! I love pizza too!

That is adorable. I love how you elaborately decorated the edges with slices of pizza. You should have written commercials for a living!

How cute!

First, your handwriting looks so good for 3rd grade! Second, it's amazing to read your full descriptions on not only what type of pizza you like to eat but also how it makes you feel to eat the pizza too. I may be the only one who thinks this but...that pretty darn good for a 3rd grader to put together in an essay!

{eye} {heart} U pizza- HILARIOUS!

Wow that's great. I flashbacked yesterday; but I linked anyway. And my picture isn't mine; I stole it off the web. Still, Flashback Thursday isn't too far outside the rules?

Tara, the first thing I thought of after reading this was that hamburger birthday cake you had one year! There's a flashback for you! Thanks for the fun memories!

I don't know...I'm 48 and any time there is pizza it's the best time of my life lol. That is really cute. My mom has one of mine that goes on about basketball for 3 pages. I was obsessed with basketball...funny I guess I still am!

Hold on. I'm still laughing at that awesome essay! So great!!

I wish I had a flashback for the day, but I don't...yet. I'm getting a scanner this week (yippee!) so I'll for sure participate next week. I'm planning on scanning so many old pictures, including some from Utah State ;o) . Be prepared!!

Frankly I'm just impressed that you still have a random essay from 3rd grade!

O.k. I know you wrote that last night! Maybe it's just you say the exact same thing every time I see you.

Well, who doesn't like pizza, I mean really? Except for weirdos. And, using cutesy pictographs were all the rage in elementary and even middle school. The teacher was probably just in awe of your culinary expertise and creative and visually enchanting pictorgraphs.
