I love this song because it reminds me of how I felt when Oby and I were dating. I almost instantly knew that he was 'the one,' even though until I met him I hadn't believed in that!
he was just my match. I wanted to be with him always. forever....
and knew I would be.
Finally finding my hunk of a man, laughing, dating, staying up late talking about the future.... I always thought, 'It just doesn't get better than this!'
But it did.
It's not as glamorous and pretty. It's not perfect like I thought it would be, but we make it through the imperfections and come out the other end on each other's side, holding hands, and smiling. It's real and tender and forgiving and trusting. We still laugh (all the time), go on an occassional date, and often stay up talking about the future. He's an amazing father, a dedicated husband, an excellent provider, and I could never ask for a better friend and companion to go through life with.

That is just so sweet. I like how you say "It's not perfect like I thought it would be" because that is so true.
