It Had To Be You

If all goes as planned, we are at the cabin right now..... snowmobiling, eating delish food, sipping hot chocolate, and lounging around playing games and watching videos. And since it's Valentine's Day weekend, we will be watching my all-time favorite romantic comedy:

This movie has some of the best lines, best music, and gives the best perspective on dating, getting your heart broken, and falling in love. Oh, plus the little snippits of old couples telling their love stories. Does it get any better than that? Aaaah I just love it!

What's your favorite romantic comedy?
(Brownie points if you agree on When Harry Met Sally!)

I wish I was hanging around at a cabin having so much fun. Big John won't be home until Wednesday...sniff.

I like When Harry Met Sally, it's right on point. I also like My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I use lines out of that movie all the time.

Oh my gosh Tara, we watched this last night! My husband got me this for Valentine's Day:) I had forgotten how funny it was. He buys me a romantic comedy each year. I hope you are having fun!

I've still never seen When Harry Met Sally...I've always wanted to but have somehow never gotten around to it--I love Serendipity...super cute, funny, and so real life!

I do love When Harry Met Sally. I also love Cutting Edge - hockey player gets injured and can't play hockey anymore, but agrees to be a figure skater with a sometime witchy young lady. Love that one!! "Toe pick!"

I also like Harry/Sally. What are some of the ones we used to watch all the time? My Best Friend's Wedding, Sleepless...I know there are tons more. Does Empire Records count as a romantic comedy? "Oh, Rexy, you're so sexy."

Good question! I need to think about that, I'm totally drawing a blank. Isn't that pitiful? Hope your having a great time!

YUK, I so dislike that movie!! lol

All time favorite, although it is sooooooooooo cheesy, would have to be Dirty Dancing and also 16 candles.

It used to be Can't buy me Love, but I have since, stopped being able to adore it because I guess I grew too old to appreciate all that cheesiness.

Totally "When Harry met Sally."

Another Meg Ryan romantic winner - "French Kiss." Not many people saw this one, but you should. It's wonderful - and I love me some Kevin Kline, even all French and groudy.
