Calling All Mobsters....

This has been Chloe throughout the entire night for the last three nights....

The 4 a.m. giggles

And that was after she took Melatonin to help her sleep! It's hard to know how to handle her because of the different diagnoses she has been given. Seizures, spasms, Cerebral Palsy, spoiled (that was an actual diagnosis given by her neurologist).... So I never know if I should feel bad that she can't sleep because of seizures, or if I should be mad at myself that she can't sleep because she just doesn't want to and she's spoiled. So what I end up doing is just giggling along with her all through the night, then dealing with the consequences later. It's the easiest and the most fun. =)

But trust me, sometimes selling her to the mob doesn't sound like a bad idea either!

I vote for doing whatever works for you and Chloe.

Very cute pictures and I hope you all get some sleep soon.

I'd much rather have 4 am giggles than 4 am screaming!! Hands down, any day. Since when is spoiled a diagnosis??? ;)

The mob could use her for all night giggle torture...where people are kept up for days and days with Chloe just giggling at them the whole time, lol!

I agree that giggling beats screaming!! I like the giggling right along with her... that's what I would do... it beats crying, and thats usually my other option.

That little stinker. Give her a kiss!

Giggling is much more fun than worrying. :)

LOL giggle away. Dakin's spoiled too. He'll wake up on purpose to play with his night nurse and of course she just indulges him....

OK, I just emailed you at your other email. I hope you get it!

LOL! Let me know how much the mob gives you b/c I might have two little boys joining her! I'm sure they'd get along just great! :)

Oh -- and please tell me how you have this cute font on blogspot? Am I missing something? LOL!

I'm so glad she has the giggles when she's up and not the weepies! I always wanted to give my kids to gypsies.

This totally reminded me of the many nights we spent playing Mafia. Remember that? Oh, the good ol' days!

That is so funny, the 4 am giggles, lol! Funny, but wow, you're right about it being hard to determine what to do. You never know why she does what she does, that's a tough one woman!

You're such a good mommy!

I love her cheeser in that picture! I think giggling right along with her is exaclty what I'd be doing too. Hopefully you are both able to get in some extra naps after giggling all night.

4 AM giggles, better than the alternative....screaming. It must be tough not to get enough sleep to function properly.

I'm with you on the MOB thing, I would love to sell #2 to the MOB on a regular basis.....maybe they can teach him some manners, respect........

By the way I tagged you for the Honest Scrap award. Hope to have you play along. So stop by anytime and check it out.

how funny are you. :) i think the mob only takes them after their potty trained and even then, they may be returned...I know mine would. :)

Oh, no! I guess giggling is so much better than screaming. I completely agree the mob sounds fantastic sometimes. I hope you get some sleep!

I love the rainbow on her shirt, is it her pjs?

If you can nap during the day when she does, I hope that you get to do that.

It's challenging enough to know what to do with children who don't have physical issues, I think I would just go with my gut on what to do at night. And hope for naps. :)

Why have them? I love to spoil my dirvishes!!! The smile pays for it all... The glee and laughter and happiness is just pure ecstacy!!!
Chloe is just too cute! I feel you though... smiles at 4am are cute the first few times and then after the umptinthbillionth time... it gets old...

My daughter used to do the same thing for the longest time. She'd wake up at 2am, crawl into bed with us and just start babbling. Silly girl! Hopefully she takes a little snooze for you in the afternoon. :P

She's so adorable though! I love it when she smiles/laugh like that!
I'm sure it must be hard on you though!
I wish I could come and do some babysitting for you!

Tara she is SO CUTE! How can you not giggle with her. I can totally relate to your sleepless nights since my baby has been getting up for the past month every hour to two hours. She's adorable.

Yeah, she doesn't look tired one bit Tara. I love the middle of the night snuggles and giggles though, they are fun (most of the time ;-)
