Time Out to Create

A few of my bloggy friends have noticed that I've taken a little time out, and to answer your questions - yes, everything is okay. I'm not having a meltdown. Our health is fine. I'm just enjoying the spring weather (except for yesterday's snow, humph!), spending more time on Chloe's development, spending more time in the scriptures, working hard to lose weight, and working on a few creative projects. My blogs have both taken a backseat while I work on other things right now.

I saw this video and I think it is inspiring and touches on what I've been spending my time doing lately. I hope you enjoy it....

Hey Tara! I can relate to how blogging takes a back seat to some of life's other activities. Blogging is great and has it's place! I bet you feel great right now focusing a lot of your time on those other worthwhile things!

Hey you, I have noticed you aren't writing as much! I just thought she must being doing something fun or if you are like me life is just way too busy sometimes to be able to blog all the time!! It definatlely takes a back seat to alot of things right now but still important because it is my record of my family. So I try to make sure the important things are recorded! GOOOD for you!! Spring is so fun if the snow would go away!! :)

This talk really touched me when he gave it last year. I love how this video was put together. Was it by Adam Smith? I hope you are having a beautiful Spring day!!!

We all need to take breaks now and then. As you've already noticed I've been taking a bit of a computer break myself...

I almost but the same background up on my blog ;)

How funny that you wrote this. I signed in this morning and thought, "Wow, Tara has been quiet lately. She must be sucked into the March Madness!" Glad to hear that you have switched priorities and taking care of your self (scriptures, exercise, etc.) Love you and missed reading about you guys!

I wish that I had half the blogging motivation that you do. Oh well.
And ditto on the weight loss. Diet and exercise are a biotch, aren't they?

Glad that you and the family are doinhg well. Everyone needs a little bloggy break now and then. And what is with UT weather?! Curses for taunting us with warmth and sun and the plop a bunch of cold wet stuff on us!

And I adore Elder Uchtdorf - he always has the most inspiring and postive messages.

You go girl, I've been around not as much also. Things just seem to have gotten so hectic so after the surgery, I've been chillin'!

Yup...I think we are trying to "catch up" on the same exact things! Working out, my dailey bible reading that I am SO behind on (was my yearly goal to read throught 2009), and getting out in this gorgeous Spring weather! My blog doesn't seem to suffer though since I am still so darn obsessed! LOL! But I am trying! I am trying to cut back.

This video is amazing.

Tara-have you done digital scrapbooking? I'm having problems trying to make my adoption portfolio page and was wondering if you knew an "easy" digi-scrap site?
