If You Like the Piano & Cello Half as Much as I Do, Then You're in for a Treat!

My friend recently put a video up of Jon Schmidt. Before I even watched the video, I was excited..... I love Jon Schmidt! He's a local piano artist, and is amazing. As a pianist myself, his talents leave me awestruck. I even had this song of his played and sung at my wedding. It's more of an anniversary song, but I still thought it fit with a wedding. Even to this day it's one of my favorite songs.....

Beautiful, right? Well, this next video is very different, but equally impressive. It's Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' meets Coldplay's 'Viva la Vida' with the piano and cello. Can't picture it? Watch the video and see....

Thanks Mandy for sharing!

I rarely listen to videos. But I was curious. And it was completely worth it. Those are two of my favorite modern pieces and I love them put together. Plus, piano and cello. He is amazing. I think I'll buy some of his cds and some sheet music for my husband. Thank you for sharing!

He is amazing! I love this. It reminds me of his Pachelbel meets U2 song.

Ya, that is some freakin' awesome music! LOVED it! Thanks for sharing. How would it be to be able to put something like that together? If I could choose a talent I didn't get, it would be to be musically inclined in anything. I've tried music before- the piano and the flute, even singing, and was never very successful at any of them. When I watch people play or sing out of their minds like that, I can only dream about how awesome it must feel! I do enjoy just sitting back and soaking all that talent in though. If you want to see another awesome collection of music, you should check out Hit Man. It is a DVD and CD of David Foster's work and the talent he has found. It was a PBS thing. It is incredible and will blow your socks off. The DVD is the best.
