We took this saying to heart and didn't let the rain ruin our fun at Sally's birthday party! ....
To help the little kids not be afraid of the thunder, Oby's grandma told them that thunder is the sound of angels bowling. LOL - this totally cracked me up because that really is what it sounds like!!! Hmmmm... maybe she's onto something! =)

oh by the way...we got a plaque for our wedding with that quote and it sits over our fireplace...what a time we got it too as a month later is when things got really rough with Kennedy....but we have learned to dance in the rain also!
When we were little we use to say it was God bowling and he got a strike. Worked for us too :-)
So fun!!! I tried to convince my kids that we should play in the rain, and they looked at me like I had just reached a whole new level of crazy!! Glad that you enjoyed the party and didn't let it rain you out!:)
I love the rainbow picture and the raindrops on the slide show is a great effect for the topic of the blog. The hamburger cake looks pretty fun too!
