Up & Popcorn

Yesterday we went to see Up.

Loved it, but it made me cry. I don't like crying. But the movie is good. So was the popcorn I ate that is sooooo against my diet, but soooooo good (especially with extra butter!) ;o)

I think it is so cute that Jake (nephew on my side of the family) and PJ (nephew on Oby's side of the family) are such cute friends! They get along really well, so we try to get them together every so often. They loved the movie and the popcorn too!

Today we worked UP - up on our popcorn ceilings in the house we're rennovating.

You know what popcorn ceilings are, don't you? If not, think back to your grandma's house or your old aunt's house. Remember the ugly ceilings with bumps and sparkles? That's the stuff we scraped off.

Who invented sparkly popcorn ceilings anyway? Whoever it is, I'd like to have a word with them! They owe me a massage on my shoulders and back!

Yay! UP was Lizzy's first theater experience since she was a naughty infant at Superman. She was fabulous and loved it. I cried too, and we all loved it.
I'm super excited for your house. Enjoy the popcorn removal. :)

I'm so glad you had a good time at the movie! I want to take our kids to see it too.

So sorry to hear about the popcorn ceilings! Our house is riddled with them. When we redid the girls' room we ridded it of the popcorn---what a mess!!! Good luck with that one!! :)

Glad you enjoyed your movie! It's on our to do list! Crying, though?!? I'll be prepared!!!

Gotta love popcorn ceilings!! I remember being too wild at grandma's house and having pieces of the popcorn ceiling rain on us... we knew we were in trouble then!! Glad that style went away!:)

Girlfriend, how do you find time to do everything that you do? I need your energy!

I also want to see UP, but Dan doesn't want to take Harrison with us. How does Chloe do in movies?

My sister and my 2 year old nephew went the other day too. Right in the middle of a sad part when the audience was silent my nephews says:

"Oooooh, that poor grappa, he's so sad!"

I love him!

I wonder if my daughter could sit still that long, though...

Girl, I still have that nasty stuff on my ceilings (with the exception of the recently renovated bathroom)!! We have an old house. I just don't have it in me to scrape them!! I think moving is going to be our answer to the popcorn dilemna!! LOL!

I hope there was no melted butter around that ceiling. ( I know not funny)

Everything I've heard about UP has been good--a lot of people have said that it made them cry, too. I really want to see it.
