This is a toy Chloe's speech therapist brought during her last visit. There is a yellow button that attaches to a long wire and the wire connects to the lamb. The yellow button is easy to push (unlike most toys that require more skill). When Chloe pushes the button, it causes the lamb to walk and baaa! For Chloe to understand the concept of 'if I push this, something happens over there' is very important! Chloe's therapist said she could have the lamb until we felt like Chloe understood the concept. The follow-up appointment was today, and we were able to graduate to the next toy up, because Chloe did so well with her lamb! This concept is a precursor to Chloe being able to operate a machine that will help her talk as well as a motorized wheelchair someday! I am so proud of her. She is smart as a little whip, I tell ya!

You are so right. For her to be able to do that is super fabulous! Like I even have to tell you, it's the small things like that mean so much. I'm so excited she's on to the next toy. Brilliant!!!
