Looking Back & Looking Ahead

I got a call last week from my good friend Heidi. I anticipated her message to be the usual, "T! Call me, Cookie!" (we have a lot of nicknames for each other, but her nickname is not PC, so we won't go there! lol)

Instead, her message was, "Hey, I'm in love. I quit my job. I moved back to Montana. Call me."

WHAT!?!?!

When I talked to her this afternoon, she filled me in. Her ex-boyfriend, is her new boyfriend....

And she has moved back to her hometown, Missoula MT. Her backyard was the set of 'A River Runs Through It.' Stunning....

But she was in town grabbing a few last things from the apartment, so Chloe and I stopped by to see her....

Heidi and I lived in this Sugarhouse apartment with roommates for quite sometime....

Being there made me feel very nostalgic about lots of our good times together, and too many inside jokes to name! There was always something fun to do. Moab over Easter weekend was a crazy fun tradition!...

We would walk to Eggs in the City from our apartment just about every single Saturday morning. We would usually split "The Mr. Big." Good times....

We went on lots of walks around our neighborhood, and loved to roam around Westminster College. I always loved the sound of the clock tower!....

I could go on and on, but then it might make me too emotional, so that's all for now. Good luck to Heidi. Cheers to love and happiness!

Enough looking back, after visiting Heidi and reminiscing, it was definitely time to look forward. So Oby, Chloe and I went to Snowbird to check out the accessible playground there. I'm working on my formal plans for Chloe's Sunshine Playground, and needed some inspiration....

The canyon was just stunning. The leaves have started to turn. My cell phone camera pictures DO NOT do it justice, in fact it didn't even pick up any of the red. Just trust me, it was beautiful!...

I've been working with a playground manufacturing company. They have offered their services free of charge (I know -- amazing). I was excited to see their logo on this particular playground!....

I liked a lot of things at this playground, and there are a lot of things I plan to do differently at my playground. All in all, it was a good time, and got me very excited about our plans looking ahead!

Hi - I found your blog through your other one as you featured a post from Alica and Brayden. Brayden has hydrancephaly - the same as my son, Noah. I believe you are LDS?? So are we! :) We are from Tasmania, Australia. Anyway - I love your blogs. Your little girl is beautiful. Hope you don't mind me stopping by.

Hey! I have a sister-in-law that lives in Missoula!! She loves it! Now, I want to know that non-PC nickname! LOL!

I'm so excited about your playground! How wonderful that you have a manufacturing company willing to contribute your services!

Anyway, this is such a great blog! I need to get by here more often!

I so wish that we had swings like that - heck a playground like that! Meya would be so excited to get to swing without me having to hold her.
