Partners in Play

It's official. My non-profit organization, The No Child Left Out Project, is partnering with Unlimited Play to make Chloe's Sunshine Playground a reality. It was a newspaper article about Unlimited Play and their first project, Zachary's Playground, that inspired me to do this project, so I am over the moon excited about our partnership! Here is a video about Zachary and his special playground....

Most planning is on hold until we pin down a location. Legacy Park is first on our list at this point....

City council will make a decision or point us in other directions at their meeting on February 9th. I'm very optimistic that Legacy Park will be the spot. It has everything going for it, and nothing negative about it, in my opinion. I'll keep you posted!

Once the location is determined, we will be going full speed ahead with the fund-raising process! I have zillions of ideas and can't wait to get going on them all! Thanks, everyone, for the support I know this project will get!

I would love to talk with you. I am attempting to do a playground in our area and have our first meeting next week! Then in a couple of months we will present to the local officials.

I am in sobbing mushy wet tears. I love that video, and I'm so excited that you are making this real. You are a visionary. I am so excited to visit Chloe's Sunshine Playground. How lucky you are to find your strengths in heaps and wheelbarrows. If not for Chloe, would you know the extent of what you can do?
What a lucky girl is Chloe.
What a lucky girl are you.

Wow!! I am 'over the moon' excited for you. This will be incredible!!!

On another note regarding your comment on CME and coverage...Our EI PT is certified to practice CME so it is just a form of therapy for us, covered under EI services by our insurances. If you need help finding out more, let me know and I'll see if I can help. I really believe in it and it is certainly worth a try.
