We are in the process of making a video to help promote fund-raising for the playground. Today we did a filming session at the mayor's home where Oby and I, the mayor, a councilman, a Special Ed teacher and citizen of Syracuse were interviewed. Our filmmaker is a true professional (you should check out his site), so it was exciting to be a part of it. If only I didn't have to get emotional every time I talked about Chloe.... Yeah, that's not gonna happen. So I guess it was as much of a success as possible. I'm really excited to see how it turns out!
When we were wrapping up our film debut, we got a call from Oby's parents saying they were in the neighborhood and wanted to stop by and show us something.
I could smell the puppy breath the second I saw little Fiona, a 5-week-old Great Dane-Mastiff. She won't stay this little for long, so we've got to enjoy her while we can!
Afterward, the family all met up at Texas Roadhouse to enjoy some good grub.
I lost 16 pounds in January, so how do I reward myself? With french fries? Doesn't sound like a good plan at first, but if you think about it, I was just seizing the moment.
Hope you're seizing moments this wonderful weekend!
