A Much-Needed Date Night

Oby and I decided to celebrate that the house is pretty much done. It's done enough that the bank approved our loan (finally!), so that's good enough for us for now!

Instead of dinner and a movie, we decided to do something different. First up, dinner - Mexican - yum! Second, we went to Cabela's. I know that sounds lame, but Oby loves it and I've never been there. It was actually pretty impressive and kinda fun to look around. Then we went to Thanksgiving Point gardens, rented a golf cart, and just drove around! The weather was absolutely beautiful!!! We laughed, talked, took turns driving the golf cart, and just took it all in. For anyone in Utah, I highly recommend this as a date! Oh, but don't forget to charge your camera battery, otherwise you'll end up with lame pix taken with a camera phone like we did! lol!

Oby at the Italian garden

Oby at the Secret Garden (probably my favorite part)

Oby at the waterfalls
(lol there really are waterfalls behind him, but apparently I didn't get it in the cell phone viewfinder!)

Since my pictures do NOT do justice, here are a couple pix of Thanksgiving Point gardens I found online. Enjoy....

Thank you to Nana and Papa for watching Chloe so we could have a great date!

We had lot's of fun too. Chloe was a sweetie. ( until I decided to give her a bath) I didn't know bath time was no longer fun. That fickle pickle. Anyway looks like Papa and I need to visit the Point.
