Flashback Friday: Snowmobiling Fashion

We're headed on a snowmobiling adventure this afternoon, so I thought it was only appropriate that this week's flashback have to do with my childhood snowmobiling days. And there were too many good pictures to pick just one, so sorry for my over-indulgence! My mom taught me at a very early age that you don't have to look good to have a good time!....

Yep. That's me at about age 4. Hot glasses, eh? And the cap? LOVE it!

Me again. Nice face mask. But it wasn't enough, we had to throw the pink cap on for good measure!

I'm sure I don't need to point out the many funny parts of this photo!
That's my brother Travis, me, and my mom.

Here's my bro Travis in his fashion-forward snow cap!

This was one tight group of gals back in the day!
Jamie has already debuted in Flashback Fridays in an orange hunter cap, but here she is again! Jamie, me (in the pink cap), Wendy, and Loni-hanging on the back. We would get on this sled and someone would pull us on the snowmobile. Oh my, did we have fun for hours on end with this activity!

Okay, now it's your turn.....

One of these days, I'll get my act together and dig out the old photos so I can participate. Looking forward to it.

BTW, couldn't resist passing you an award. You can grab it at Logan's blog.

It must have been great to get to play in the snow like that. I really like your brother's long knitted hat. It reminds me of 'Twas Night Before Christmas. And your shades...cool, man.

The glasses in the first one just MAKE the outfit complete.

Thanks so much for coming by my blog. I have really enjoyed being Saucy!

As to your comment - I think that teachers should get paid enough to drive Ferrari's . I could never do that job. They really are earning stars in their crowns every single day!

Happy Friday and have a great Valentine's Day!

That pic with the face mask is awesome! What can't we say about 80's snow fashion? It's big, it's colorful, it's mismatched, it's simply stunning for those flashback photos!!

The glasses are FANTASTIC! You were such a cute little girl. We are taking our kids skiing and have those ski masks. I wonder if anyone will wear them because they look so silly--but keep your face warm! (OK, so my son just came in and begged me to wear one!) It is great that your family did that together. What fun memories!

I love your brother's hat. It reminds me of the hat Swartz wears on A Christmas Story.

Your pictures look so much fun. Thanks for sharing.

How is it possible that I never remember to participate in Flashback Friday? You and I definitely share a love for all fashion and photos from our past. I have got to jump on board!

Plus, TMI Tara is simply my favorite blog! Anyone that can rock the pink knit hat like you do is someone I need in my group of friends.

Tara, I loved these photos! The first one is definately the best!! :) You look great! It brought back tons of memories of growing up! We would go snowmobiling every year all season long in Island Park!! So much fun!! It is not my favorite thing to do now that I am older and don't care much for the snow but still have wonderful memories of doing that!! We would even go get our Christmas tree every year by snowmobile!! Loved this post!! Thanks for sharing!!

YOu should've saved the glasses for Chole! They'd be back in style!
